About

I keep a diary of my Bitcoin investment journey here — a simple strategy of Dollar-Cost Averaging, HOLDing, and Diversifying.

The idea is simple: buy a little, consistently, over many years. Trying to time the market — waiting for the dip, calling the top — is a game almost nobody wins. Buying the same amount on a fixed schedule, in good markets and bad, smooths out the noise and takes the guessing out of the equation.

Holding is the harder half. Buying is easy; sitting still through a 60% drawdown without touching anything is not. But it’s time in the market, not timing of the market, that actually compounds — so this is a record of staying the course, not reacting to headlines.

Diversifying matters just as much as the other two. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket: Bitcoin is the asset I track here, but no single market — however convinced you are of it — is a strategy on its own. Putting everything into one bet just trades market risk for concentration risk. The accumulation documented on this site is one piece of a wider plan spread across assets, not the whole plan.
